Kaunia police hand over 20 recovered mobile phones to owners

Demonstrating technical expertise and dedication, the Kaunia Police Station under Barishal Metropolitan Police (BMP) has successfully recovered 20 lost mobile phones over the month of July 2026 and returned them to their rightful owners.
The operations were conducted throughout the month under the guidance of BMP Deputy Police Commissioner (North) Mohammad Imdad Hussain and direct supervision of Assistant Police Commissioner (Kaunia Zone) Pavitra Kumar Halder.
Following thorough verification, the devices were formally handed over to the overjoyed owners on Tuesday at 12:30 PM at the Kaunia Police Station premises.
Key officials present at the ceremony included Assistant Police Commissioner Pavitra Kumar Halder and Kaunia Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Sanjit Chandra Nath.
The phone owners expressed deep gratitude to the police force for their prompt service. Reaffirming their commitment to public security, Kaunia Police Station stated that their ongoing goal is to deliver swift civic services and earn community trust.
