Nazrul University Correspondent

Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University (JKKNIU) has announced the 5th Executive Committee of its Press Club for the year 2025.

Jihaduzzaman Jisan, University Correspondent of The Daily Kalbela, has been selected as the President, while Md. Shahadat Hossain, University Correspondent of The Daily Country Today, has been selected as the General Secretary.

The announcement was made the 13 members committee in the university's conference room by the Chief Convenor of the organization, Vice-Chancellor Dr. Md. Jahangir Alam recently.

The other members of the committee include Sharmistha Bhattacharya (Bangla FM) as Vice-President, Arnab Acharya (Bahanno News) as Joint Secretary, Amirul Islam Bapan (Bangladesh Journal) as Organizing Secretary, Jannat Jahan Jui (Sun News) as Treasurer, and Md. Rohan Chisti (NTV Online) as Office and Publication Secretary.

Additionally, the executive members are Nawab Md. Shoukot Jahan Kibria (Dainik Amar Sangbad), Nawsad Al Saim (Photographer), Safina Ghazi Emi (BD Time 24), Ashraful Alam (Photographer), Sanjana Orpa (Sangbad Parikrama), and Refayet Alam Rabbi (Sangbad Live 24).

The newly-elected president Jihaduzzaman Jisan expressed his gratitude to everyone and said that, he wants to do his best to advance the Nazrul University Pressclub with truth and courage.

General Secretary Md. Shahadat Hossain emphasized the club's commitment to skill development, saying, "Nazrul University Press Club will work especially to enhance the skills of student journalists in the coming days.

The elected committee will serve for one year.
