 One of the central assistant secretaries general of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami and Rangpur-Dinajpur regional director Maulana Abdul Halim said that effective leadership should be developed through Islamic training, inviting Islam to the society, creating a morally sound personality.

He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the day-long ‘Rukon’ Training Camp (TC) organized by Jamaat-e-Islami Rangpur Metropolitan Branch at the Model College Auditorium in the city on Saturday. 

 Maulana Abdul Halim said that due to the lack of moral education based on the Holy Quran, various anarchy including murder, rapes are prevailing in the society today. He stressed the importance of forming public opinion and said that for the formation of a humane government, standing by the helpless and miserable people of the society should be made a regular practice for good results in the next election. The workers of the Islamic movement at the grassroots level should play their due role in solving the social problems of the people. Through this, it is possible to fulfill this expectation of the people. He said. The welfare of the individual, society and the state lies in following the provisions of the Al-Quran.

Maulana Abdul Halim said that the inhuman and barbaric massacre in Gaza has shocked the world conscience and raised slogans. Today's protest by millions of people in Suhrawardy Udyan is a shining example of that. Bangladesh is united today on the issue of the massacre in Gaza and solidarity with Palestine. He said that in the context of the escape of the murderous fascists, Bangladesh has now become a fertile field for the Islamic movement. The organization's manpower at all levels should be evaluated by displaying good moral character and playing a role in welfare work in the society.

The special guests at the training camp held under the chairmanship of Jamaat-e-Islami's Central Majlish-e- Shura Member and Metropolitan Ameer Maulana ATM Azam Khan where  Central Working Committee Member and Assistant Director of Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Maulana Momtaz Uddin, Central Working Committee Member and Rangpur-Dinajpur Region Team Member Professor Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Regional Team Member Maulana Abdul Hakim Jamaat's Rangpur Metropolitan Secretary KM Anwarul Haque Kajal, Assistant Secretary Raihan Siraji and Al Amin Hasan, among others, were also  present.
