Journalist’s Daughter Earns Talent Pool Scholarship in Primary Education in Baraigram
Baraigram, Natore
Arina Ashrafi Tahiyah, a student from Baraigram Upazila of Natore district, has been awarded a
Talent Pool Scholarship in the 2025 Primary Scholarship Examination. She was a student of
Bonpara BUD International School.
Arina is the youngest daughter of Md. Ashraful Islam, Deputy Registrar of Bangladesh Army
University of Engineering & Technology (BAUET) and Baraigram Correspondent of The
Country Today, and Ms Sakina Khatun, a homemaker.
Expressing her joy, Arina said that she achieved this success through the sincere guidance and
continuous support of her parents and teachers. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to all of
them for their encouragement and dedication.
She also said that she aspires to become an enlightened and responsible citizen through quality
education and strong moral values. She sought the blessings and prayers of everyone so that she
can contribute positively to society and the nation in the future.
