International Youth Day celebrated in Bauphal at Jamaat initiative

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami organized a rally and discussion meeting in Baufal, Patuakhali, to mark International Youth Day.
The program commenced on Wednesday at 11:00 AM with a colorful rally originating from the Baufal Government College field. The procession paraded through the main thoroughfares of Baufal municipality before concluding at the courtyard of the Upazila Council Jam Mosque, where a brief discussion meeting was held on the role and significance of youth in contemporary society.
Chaired by Russel Mahmud and conducted by General Secretary Khairul Kabir, the meeting featured Patuakhali District Youth and Sports Affairs Secretary Kabir Hossain as the chief guest, alongside local Jamaat-e-Islami leaders.
Addressing the gathering, speakers highlighted that the progress and future of a nation depend heavily on its youth. They urged young people to stay clear of drugs, terrorism, and social degradation, emphasizing the need to build character grounded in morality and ideals.
