International Volunteer Day celebrated in Gazipur

VSO Bangladesh in association with Institute of Disaster Management and Vulnerability Studies,Dhaka University and National Youth Platform organized a great event in 5th December to observe the International Volunteer Day 2023.
International Volunteer Day (IVD) is celebrated every year worldwide. This year, the global theme of IVD 2023 is "If Everyone Did..." focusing on the power of collective action through volunteerism.
Prof. Dr. Mahbuba Nasreen, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Bangladesh Open University & the regional lead of GRRIPP South Asia, was one of the guest speakers for the session - 'Adolescents and youth health effect on climate change issues'. She shared her research experiences & some of the key findings in Persons with Disabilities the session.
