Inter-House Football Tournament held at BIIT Model School and College in Bogura

An inter-house football tournament was held at BIIT Model School and College in Bogura on Wednesday morning at the institution's playground. A total of eight teams from four houses of the primary and secondary sections participated in the competition.
In the finals, Sher-e-Bangla House emerged as champions in the primary section, while Shahidullah House secured the championship title in the secondary section.
Speaking as the chief guest at the prize-giving ceremony, Bogura Press Club General Secretary Kalam Azad said that Bogura, like the rest of the country, has witnessed significant development. He added that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has placed emphasis on both educational advancement and sports development. He noted that sports play a vital role in the physical and mental growth of students, helping them develop discipline, leadership, teamwork and mutual respect. He also encouraged students to participate actively in sports and cultural activities alongside their academic studies.
The event was presided over by the institution's Founder Principal, Engineer Md. Sahabuddin Soikot. Among those present were senior journalist Abdus Salam Babu of News24 Bogura, Journalist Shahjahan Ali,Sajal Sheikh, Rakel Islam along with teachers, students and guardians.
The programme was conducted by teacher Alok Pal. At the end of the event, the guests distributed trophies and prizes among the winning teams.
