Int'l Mother Language Day celebrated with due dignity in Kalapara

International Mother Language Day was celebrated with due dignity in Kalapara, Patuakhali. On Friday at 7 am, UNO Md. Rabiul Islam started the formalities of the Say by offering flowers at the altar of the central Shaheed Minar of the upazila.
Later, members of the Upazila BNP, police administration, various government offices and social organizations and press club paid tribute by offering flowers at the altar of the Shaheed Minar. In addition, the day was celebrated with discussion meetings throughout the day and prayers at various mosques and temples and pagodas to seek forgiveness for the souls of the language martyrs.
Meanwhile, in Mahipur and Kuakata of the upazila, the national flag was kept at half-mast at sunrise in all political parties, educational institutions, government, semi-government, autonomous and private buildings and business establishments to pay tribute to the language martyrs.
