Islamic Arabic University Vice Chancellor Prof  Dr. Mohammad Shamsul Alam said that as the quality of madrasa education has improved, more boys and girls are currently enrolling in madrasas. Earlier, people used to neglect madrasa education, but now they do not neglect madrasa education. Now many boys and girls are enrolling in madrasas. In the last 11 and half months, we have improved the quality of madrasa education a lot by the grace of Allah.

He said this in his speech as the chief guest at the Kamil clas starting ceremony for the 2023-24 academic year and a meeting titled Improving the ‘Quality of Madrasa Education’ organized at the Mulatol Madinatul Ulum Kamil Madrasa Ground in Rangpur City on Tuesday.

At that time, the Vice Chancellor said,” We have been able to improve the quality of education in all subjects in addition to Arabic education in the madrasa. Therefore, now thousands of students of the madrasa are doctors, engineers, researchers, and teachers in good positions.” He said, “Alia Madrasa was started in Dhaka in 1780, due to the quality of reading and writing and neglect, it was difficult to get 700 students as examinees in the madrasa every year, Alhamdulillah, now 2,700 students from there participate in various examinations every year.” He also said, “We have currently improved the quality of all examinations, there is transparency in the examinations, there is no corruption or cheating. Further improvements will be made in classes and examinations in the future.”

The special guests at the lecture and exchange of views meeting were Prof Dr. Mohammad Ali Ullah, Dean of Kamil (Postgraduate) Education of Islamic Arabic University, Mohammad Ali, Controller of Examinations, Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Working Council Member Mahbubur Rahman Belal, Rangpur Metropolitan Ameer ATM Azam Khan, Islamic Foundation Divisional Director Mustafa Mansur Alam, Deputy Director Abu Bakkar Siddique, Madrasa Principal Maulana Azgar Ali. Madrasa founding member Zahed Hossain Khandaker presided over the function.
