The Government Primary School Assistant Teacher Tenth Grade Implementation Coordinating Council formed a human chain program at Laksam Bypass of Dhaka-Noakhali Regional Highway on Sunday afternoon demanding the promotion of assistant teachers of the Government Primary School to the tenth grade in Comilla's Laksham.

Prior to this, the teacher leaders sent a memorandum to the Chief Advisor to the Interim Government and the Advisor to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education through Laksam Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Primary Education Officer, justifying their demands. After that, the assistant teachers raised various slogans in favor of the one-point demand for the implementation of the 10th grade in the human chain which started at 3 pm.

Mohammad Amir Hossain, Billal Hossain, Humayun Kabir, Farooq Ahmed, Farzana Chowdhury, Shahajan Talukder, Tapas Kanti, Jalal Ahmed, Saiful Islam, Abdul Latif, Md. spoke on the occasion. Shah Jahan and others.

The chief coordinator of Manabbandhan said that the salary of eighth class pass drivers is in 12th grade, and the salary of those teachers who are the craftsmen of nation building is in 13th grade. Which is really a shame for the nation. SSC and Diploma Pass Assistant Agricultural Officer, SSC and Diploma in Nursing Pass, Secondary Assistant Teacher, Police SI, Head Coroner of various Ministries is 10th Grade but Graduation Pass Primary School Assistant Teachers Salary is 13th Grade. Which cannot be accepted in any way. This is extreme discrimination.

Another coordinator, Billal Hossain, said that the main task of teachers is to encourage students to dream of a happy, prosperous and prosperous life. But leaving the teachers in the third class and giving them the responsibility to make first class citizens is absurd. I strongly demand that teachers be promoted to 10th grade and given social status.
