Huge quantity of drugs seized from makeshift hut in Chandgaon; drug dealer held

Law enforcement agencies have recovered a substantial amount of drugs from a makeshift hut in the Chandgaon area.
The apprehended drug dealer, Md. Jewel (34), is the son of Md. Hanif from Shahid Para in the Oxygen area.
According to RAB, they received a tip-off indicating that a large quantity of drugs had been stored near the hut for sale. Acting on this information, RAB conducted an operation and discovered 46 kg of marijuana wrapped in 23 black polythene bundles, hidden behind dense bushes.
The estimated market value of the seized drugs is approximately BDT 700,000. Md. Jewel was detained while attempting to flee. The arrested individual, along with the seized drugs, has been handed over to Chandgaon Police Station for legal proceedings.
