
Health workers hold sit-in protest demanding implementation of 6-point demands in Goalando

A sit-in program has been held in Goalanda, Rajbari, demanding the immediate implementation of the 6-point demands, including amending the appointment rules of health colleagues working at the field level, granting 14th grade by adding graduation/equivalent, and upgrading to 11th grade through in-service diploma training, granting technical rank, and successively granting the next higher grade in the case of promotion.
The Bangladesh Health Assistant Association Goalando Upazila branch organized the sit-in program in front of the Goalando Upazila Health Complex on Tuesday from 9 am to 11 am.
At this time, General Secretary of Bangladesh Health Assistant Association Rajbari District Branch Md. Sirajul Islam delivered a speech presenting a 6-point demand list.
Bangladesh Health Assistant Association Goalando Upazila branch president Hafeza Sultana presided over the event, while the organization's general secretary Md. Sohel Rana, organizing secretary Md. Masud Rana and other leaders of Goalando Upazila branch were present.
