Health and Family Welfare Minister Sardar Md. Sakhawat Hossain instructed relevant government officials to ensure good governance, transparency, and accountability to establish a people-friendly administration.

The Minister made the directive while speaking as the chief guest at a exchange meeting with Members of Parliament and district-level officials held at the conference room of the Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner’s Office on Tuesday.

 Presided over by the Munshiganj Deputy Commissioner, the meeting was attended by Munshiganj-2 Constituency MP Abdus Salam Azad, Munshiganj-3 Constituency MP Md. Kamruzzaman, Munshiganj Zila Parishad representative A K M Iradat, and district heads of various government departments.

Addressing the assembly, Minister Sakhawat Hossain stated that no corruption or irregularities would be tolerated in public operations, instructing officials to strengthen regular monitoring to ensure service quality and timely implementation of development projects. He directed concerned authorities to maintain strict surveillance over fertilizer and electricity distribution networks. Regarding law enforcement, he ordered continuous operations against narcotics, gambling, smuggling, and juvenile gangs, while directing administration officials to complete all necessary preparations for the peaceful celebration of the upcoming Sharadiya Durga Puja.

 Emphasizing clean environment drives and public awareness campaigns to prevent dengue and measles, he instructed health personnel to complete all necessary preparations for the nationwide Intensified MR Catch-Up Vaccination Campaign scheduled to run from September 26 to October 31.
