Hasina among 91 accused in Lalbagh muder case

A case has been filed against 91 people, including former prime minister Sheikh Hasina, over the killing of college student Khalid Hasan Saifullah during the quota reform movement in the capital’s Lalbagh area.
The deceased’s father Kamrul Hasan filed the case with Lalbagh Police Station on Saturday night.
The case also named Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, former Law Minister Anisul Huq, Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, and former State Minister for Information and Technology Zunaid Ahmed Palak as accused, among a total of 91 individuals.
According to the case statement, Khalid Saifullah, a student of Ideal School and College, participated in the Anti-Discrimination Movement alongside other students.
On 18 July, law enforcement officers, allegedly under the direct encouragement of the accused persons, opened fire on the students, resulting in Khalid's death. His body was later identified at a hospital on 20 July.
