General meeting of Faridpur Sadar Upazila Parishad held

The monthly general meeting of the Faridpur Sadar Upazila Parishad was held on Monday, focusing on ongoing development initiatives, public service delivery, and administrative coordination.
UNO Meshkatul Jannat Rabeya presided over the meeting, which brought together local government representatives, heads of various upazila-level government departments, and relevant stakeholders.
Discussions during the session centered on reviewing the progress of ongoing public welfare projects, evaluating departmental performance, and identifying necessary measures to further elevate the quality of citizen services across the upazila. Participants placed special emphasis on strengthening inter-departmental coordination to ensure transparency and timely implementation of local development schemes.
Key attendees included Assistant Commissioner (Land) Shofiqul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Agriculturist Md. Anwar Hossain, Upazila PIO Pranab Pandey, along with union parishad chairmen Masud Hossain (Chandpur), Nurul Alam (Ambikapur), Mofazzal Hossain (North Channel), Shah Mohammad Emar Haque (Gerda), and Md. Siddik Fakir (Koijuri), alongside other local officials.
