Gazipur-3 Constituency Member of Parliament Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj did not get a Awami League nomination in the 12th National Parliamentary election.
Professor Rumana Ali Tusi, daughter of former Member of Parliament and late State Minister Advocate Rahmat Ali, has been nominated for this seat in the boat symbol of Awami League.
According to the information provided by Muhammad Iqbal Hossain Sabuj, who participated in the election as an independent candidate in the 2018 affidavit, his cash was Tk 20 lakh 50 thousand and his bank deposits were Tk 22 lakh 39 thousand. His immovable assets increased by 3.4 times in a span of 5 years. He has invested 7 lakh 40 thousand taka in the farm. He has a debt of 50 lakhs.
According to 2023 data, MP Iqbal Hossain's immobile assets include cash of 5 lakh, bank deposits of 47 lakh 61 thousand and a car with duty free quota of 83 lakh 71 thousand.
In 2018, Iqbal Hossain Sabuj's wife Nigar Sultana Jhuma is a housewife. She had no cash. Bank had 5 lakh 26 thousand and 5 lakh savings paper and gold was 1 thousand 166 grams and currently she is a businessman.
