On Friday,  a written examination took place at Gaibandha BIAM Laboratory School and College at 10:00 am. The test was organized under the supervision of the renowned IT institution E-Learning and Earning Ltd. A total of 999 applications were submitted in Gaibandha, among which 531 candidates participated in the written exam.

To ensure fairness and transparency, a control committee was formed, chaired by Mr. Mahfuzar Rahman, Deputy Director of the District Youth Development Department. The examination center was visited by Md. Nur Alam Mia, District Coordinator of E-Learning and Earning Ltd., Md. Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Coordinator, trainers S.B. Sijan and Md. Rasel Mia, along with officials and trainers of the Gaibandha District Youth Development Department.

Successful candidates from the written test will attend the oral examination scheduled for Saturday (September 27). Results and time schedules will be communicated to the candidates via SMS.

According to the authorities, upon completing the training, participants will be able to earn income by working from home in various online marketplaces. This will not only create self-employment opportunities but also contribute to the national economy. Since the beginning of 2025, a total of 7,200 youths, including young women, have successfully completed training in three batches across the country. More than 62 percent of them are already engaged in income-generating activities, establishing themselves as entrepreneurs. Collectively, these trained entrepreneurs have earned approximately USD 900,000 (around BDT 11 crore), and the earnings continue to grow.

Following the publication of the admission circular for the 4th batch this year, thousands of applications were submitted nationwide. As part of this process, written tests were conducted in 48 districts, including Gaibandha, on September 26, 2025.

From Gaibandha district alone, 150 trainees participated in the first three batches. Among them, over 70 percent are earning regularly and making significant contributions to their families and social development.
