Free medical services at  initiative  of Sadar Sena Zone in Rangamati

A day-long medical campaign has been held at the initiative of Rangamati Sadar Sena Zone to increase health awareness and provide free medical services among the local hill-Bengali people.
 
This health campaign was conducted on Sunday  morning at the Sapchhari Union Parishad office premises in Rangamati. Rangamati Sadar Sena Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ekramul Rahat, PSC, inaugurated the medical campaign as the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony of the camp.
 
Among others, Sapchhari Union Parishad Chairman Praveen Chakma, UP member Riton Barua, Sapchhari Jubo Dal President Abdul Bacha, Social Committee member Md. Jahangir, local public representatives, civil society representatives and senior army officials were present at the ceremony.
 
  Rangamati Sadar Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Ekramul Rahat, PSC said, "In addition to maintaining peace and harmony in the hilly region, the Bangladesh Army has been working since the beginning to improve the quality of life and health of the local people. One of our main goals is to provide services to the doorsteps of the marginalized and disadvantaged people of the hills who do not easily get advanced medical services due to distance.
 
In this day-long medical campaign, free medical services, necessary tests and medicines were provided to hundreds of helpless and distressed women, men and children of the area.
 
Local residents expressed their satisfaction and gratitude for this humanitarian initiative of the army.
