A free eye treatment camp was held in Durgapur, Netrakona.This Saturday at 10 am, BNP Central Committee Legal Affairs Secretary Barrister Kaiser Kamal, in collaboration with Mymensingh Dr. K. Zaman BNSB Eye Hospital, organized this free eye treatment camp at Gujirkona High School ground under the overall supervision of BNP Central Committee Legal Affairs Secretary Barrister Kaiser Kamal.

The free eye treatment camp was inaugurated as the chief guest by Bakaljora Union BNP convener Md. Abdus Satta and moderated by Anwar Hossain Khalifa. Present at the event were District BNP Joint Convener Bazlur Rahman Pathan, District BNP Member Imam Hossain Abu Chan Chairman, Durgapur Upazila BNP Convener Md. Zahirul Islam Bhuiyan, Senior Joint Convener M Rafiqul Islam, Joint Convener Jamal Uddin Master, Akhtaruzzaman Abbasi Elias, Anwar Hossain Asad, Member Secretary Kullagara Union Parishad Chairman Abdul Awal, Upazila BNP Former President MA Jinnah and leaders of affiliated organizations. At the event, Barrister Kaiser Kamal presented a wheelchair and an auto-rickshaw (easy bike) to Md. Rajib Ahmed, who was injured in the anti-discrimination student movement, on behalf of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman.

Speaking as the chief guest, Barrister Kaiser Kamal said, BNP is a party of mother, land and people. This party is working for the service of humanity and the welfare of people. On the instructions of BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, under the overall supervision of Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, I have rushed to my constituency and organized this free eye treatment camp with the aim of standing by the people of neglected and remote areas along the Indian border.

After examining about 3,000 patients throughout the day, specialist doctors of Mymensingh BNSB Eye Hospital selected 800 patients for cataract surgery. The remaining patients were distributed with medical records, necessary medicines and glasses.
