Five arrested in Rajshahi city

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP), along with its Thana and Detective Branch (DB) units, arrested a total of five individuals in operations conducted across the city over the past 24 hours ending Wednesday.
In a special operation targeting attacks on the anti-discrimination student movement, explosions, terrorist activities, and other crimes, one person, Md. Iftekhar Ahmed Raj (19), was arrested. He is the son of Md. Obaidur Haque from Kalupur village, Chapainawabganj Sadar Thana, and currently resides in Forest Colony under Shahmakhdum Thana in Rajshahi Metropolis.
Besides, four others were arrested in separate RMP operations, including two with outstanding warrants and two in drug-related cases.
Legal action has been taken against all arrested individuals.
