
Fire shatters dream of seven traders in Amtali

The dream of seven traders of Maitha Bazar in Amtali Upazila has been burnt in the fire. The traders said the loss was at least Tk 1 lakh.
Amtali UNO Muhammad Ashraful Alam visited the spot on Thursday. The incident took place on Wednesday night at two o'clock.
It is reported that the market was set up in the Maitha area of Sadar Union of Amtali upazila. For the last 3 years, those traders have been establishing business in different shops for the last 3 years. The fire broke out from the Mudimanohardi shop of businessman Milan Gazi around two o'clock on Wednesday night. Within a moment the fire spread around. Seven shops were burnt to ashes by the flames of the fire. On receiving the news, the Amtali fire service personnel went to the scene and tried to take the locals for two hours and brought the fire under control. But then the market was burnt to death by Ghazi, Ferdous Khandaker, Ruhul Amin Khandaker, Farooq Molla, Jabbar Khandaker, Nazmul Ahsan shop and Mannan Khandaker's clubhouse. The traders said the loss was at least Tk 1 lakh. Amtali Upazila Executive Officer Muhammad Ashraful Alam visited the scene and assured the business of businessmen.
Some eyewitnesses said, "After hearing the sound of the Dacadaki, I went to the market and saw the fire burning." Later, the locals tried to control the fire and failed. Later, the people of the Fius service came and tried for two hours and brought the fire under control.
Mudimonoardi businessman Milan Ghazi said in a crying voice, "All the mirror is gone." Hara life that I am kamai is all about the fire. There is no way to sit on the way. Electronics businessman Ruhul Amin Khandaker said that what I have earned in life has ended in one Nimishi. He added that at least one lakh traders in the market suffered a loss of Tk 1 lakh.
Amtali Fire Service Wire House Inspector Md Hanif said the fire was believed to have been set up from the electric sot circuit.
Amtali Sadar Union Parishad Chairman Md. Zahidul Islam Mithu Mridha said, half of the market's shop was burnt in the fire. There is no way to sit on the traders.
Amtali Upazila Executive Officer Muhammad Ashraful Alam said, "We have visited the scene. Traders will be assisted from the Ministry of Relief and Disaster in the wake of the application.
