Financial support to 65 puja mandaps in C' nawabganj

Chapainawabganj District Council has provided financial assistance to 65 Durga Puja mandapas and 10 social organizations.
On Wednesday (October 13) afternoon, checks for financial donations were handed over to the presidents general secretaries of the puja mandapas at the council's own office. A total of Tk 4 lakh was provided to 65 puja mandapas including 10 social organizations in the district.
Zilla Parishad (Acting) Chairman Md. Ashraful Islam and Parishad Chief Executive Officer (Deputy Secretary) Md. Enamul Haque handed over the checks.
District Council member Abul Basar, Engineer Mohayedul Islam, Chief Accountant Md. Mamun Ar Rashid, Surveyor Md. Shafiqul Islam, High Level Assistant Md. Shihab Mahfuz and others were present at the time.
