Final admission at BU underway, classes to begin on Oct 21

The final admission process for the 2023-2024 academic year of the 1st-year undergraduate (honours) programme at Barishal University (BU) has started.
The admission process started on Sunday (October 6) and will continue until Tuesday (October 8). Additionally, the first-year classes are set to begin on October 21.
On Sunday (October 6) at 10:00 AM, the university’s Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Suchitra Sharmin visited the admission office.
She spoke with the incoming students and took a comprehensive overview of the admission proceedings. Deans of various faculties, the registrar, the proctor, and other officials of the university were present.
It is mentioned that for the 2023-2024 academic year, Barishal University has a total of 1,570 seats in 25 departments under six faculties.
