Farmer cards, agricultural inputs distributed in Barguna

Keeping in mind the theme 'If you have a farmer's card, you will receive services immediately', the distribution of farmer's cards and agricultural equipment assistance to about eight hundred beneficiaries has been inaugurated in Ramna block of Bamna, Barguna.
On Thursday , the Chief Whip of the National Parliament, Alhaj Nurul Islam Moni MP, Member of Parliament for Barguna 2 constituency, inaugurated the Bamna Upazila as the chief guest by joining Bamna Upazila virtually at the event organized at the Bamna Upazila Parishad auditorium.
The event, organized by the Ministry of Agriculture, was attended by Barguna District Council Administrator and District BNP Convener Md. Nazrul Islam Molla, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Animesh Biswas, Additional Superintendent of Police Ashfaq, Bamna Upazila Executive Officer Nikahat Ara, Deputy Director of the Department of Agricultural Extension Barguna SM Badrul Alam, President of Barguna Press Club Md. Hafizur Rahman, Industrialist Ruhul Amin Sharif, former Bamna Upazila BNP Convener Abul Kalam Azad Rana, Officer-in-Charge of Bamna Police Station Md. Faruk and Upazila Agriculture Officer Farzana Tasmin, along with people from different walks of life.
Chief guest Alhaj Nurul Islam Moni virtually said that farmers are one of the main forces in the country's economy and food security. The farmer card program has been taken with the aim of providing government services and necessary agricultural assistance to farmers easily. All concerned must work sincerely to ensure that farmers receive the necessary services and materials on time. It is our hope that the country's agriculture will move forward further through the development and prosperity of farmers.
Local people from various walks of life, including women, farmers, imams, muezzins, and others, participated in the program. The importance of the Farmers Card program was highlighted to facilitate easy access to government services and agricultural input support for farmers.
