Farewell reception of DU Rover Scout Group held

Dhaka University Rover Scout Group's Farewell Reception of Met Council 2022-23 and Inauguration Ceremony of Met Council 2023-24 was held in a festive atmosphere at a restaurant in Elephant Road on Wednesday evening.
Prof Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal was present as the chief guest on the occasion. Dhaka University rover scout group editor and chief rover scout leader Mahmudur Rahman presided over the program proctor of the university Dr. Md. Maksudur Rahman and Martyr Sergeant Zahurul Haque Hall Principal Prof. Dr. Md. Abdur Rahim was present as special guest.

Besides, the treasurer of Dhaka University Rover Scout Group spoke at the event. Mumit Al Rashid, outgoing Senior Rover Mate Mehdi Hasan PS and newly appointed Senior Rover Mate Sartaj Shahadat PS. The program was conducted by Dhaka University Rover Scout Group Girl-in-Rover Leader Dr. Fatima Akhtar
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal expressed satisfaction observing the progress of the Rovers and wished them success in the future. He mentioned that the rovers have to participate in various training programs to transform them into efficient human resources.
