A farewell reception and prayer mahfil for the 2026 HSC examinees of the traditional 'Bogla Roshmat Ali Ram Sundar School and College' in Doarabazar Upazila of Sunamganj was held amidst a grand and emotional atmosphere. The farewell ceremony was organized today on the premises of the institution.

The event was presided over by  Principal of Bogla Roshmat Ali Ram Sundar School and College, Md. Sirajul Islam, and the Honorable President of the Governing Body of Doarabazar UNO  and the organization's Governing Body  Arup Ratan Singh  was present as the chief guest.

The program was started with a lively and orderly welcome speech by the lecturer of the Bangla department of the institution , Md. Jamal Mia , and the Assistant Headmaster , Md. Mujibur Rahman . He gave a directional speech to the outgoing students and advised them to study hard for good results in the exams.

The special guests present at the event included Mohammad Milon Khan , the esteemed chairman of the local Boglabazar Union Parishad , Md. A. Malek , one of the esteemed members of the Doarabazar Upazila BNP convening committee, and Md. Jahangir Alam Mintu , a prominent social worker. The speakers urged the outgoing students to become good citizens of the country and dedicate themselves to the welfare of the society, the haor region and the country.

In his speech as the chief guest, Doarabazar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Mr. Arup Ratan Singha said, "The real purpose of education is not just to achieve a good GPA, but to become a good person with morals. I believe that by maintaining the tradition of this institution, the students will achieve excellent results in the 2026 HSC examination and further enhance the reputation of Doarabazar Upazila."

In the president's closing speech, Principal Md. Sirajul Islam gave an emotional speech wishing the outgoing students all the best in their future lives and a bright future and requested them to follow the rules of the examination hall.

In the ceremony, some students expressed their feelings on behalf of the outgoing examinees and the farewell certificate was read out on behalf of the junior students. Finally, the ceremony ended with a special prayer and supplication, wishing the HSC examinees of 2026 glorious success in the upcoming examinations and the welfare of the country and the nation. All the teachers, employees, guardians and students of the institution were present at the ceremony.
