Cultural Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury meets cultural figures in Jhenaidah, distributes grants

Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury, MP, has stated that the government is working tirelessly to preserve and ensure the balanced development of grassroots culture and tradition across the country.
Speaking as the chief guest at an exchange meeting held at the Jhenaidah District Administration conference room on Friday, the minister urged local cultural activists to work unitedly to advance Jhenaidah's rich cultural heritage.
Organized by the Jhenaidah district administration, the high-profile meeting brought together cultural personalities, local administrative officials, and dignitaries from various levels of the district. The session was presided over by Jhenaidah Deputy Commissioner Md. Noman Hossain.
During his address, the Cultural Affairs Minister emphasized that cultural practices dispel social darkness and superstitions, guiding society toward enlightenment.
In the open discussion session, the attending cultural figures highlighted the current state, potential, and challenges of cultural activities in the district, presenting several constructive proposals to the minister.
