Everyone should be aware of using social media : UNO Makhon Chandra Sutradhar

Kamalganj Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Makhon Chandra Sutradhar said that everyone should be aware of the use of social media. He said this in the concluding speech of the day-long awareness workshop to prevent cybercrime and misuse of social media organized by the Kamalganj Upazila Administration at 3 pm on Saturday.
He said, "We all use different apps due to the use of smart phones or access different links out of curiosity. It is seen that a lot of our personal information goes to them, later many of us become victims of fraud. And have to take refuge in the law. We need more awareness in the use of social media.
Upazila ICT Officer Rakibul Haque presented various information and data at the beginning of this workshop at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Saturday (May 24) at 10 am.
Among others who spoke at the closing ceremony of the workshop were Kamalganj Police Station OC Sayed Iftekhar Hossain, Primary Education Officer Saiful Islam Talukder, and Kamalganj Press Club Convener MA Wahid Rulu.
Government officials, teachers and students, and journalists from various print and electronic media participated in the workshop.
