Dutch-Bangla Bank signs Export Diversification Refinance Scheme agreement with BB
Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited has signed a participation agreement with Bangladesh Bank under the Export Diversification Refinance Scheme to expand and strengthen the national export sector recently.
Director of the Sustainable Finance Department of Bangladesh Bank A.K.M. Nurunnabi and Managing Director and CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank Md. Ehteshamul Haque Khan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions at the Bangladesh Bank headquarters in Dhaka.
Senior officials from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.
The primary objective of the agreement is to fortify the national export sector by supporting export product diversification and facilitating access to new international markets. Under the facility, Dutch-Bangla Bank will provide refinancing opportunities at concessionary interest rates to its export-oriented clients.
