DU Management Depat 31st batch introduction ceremony held

The introduction ceremony of the 31st batch of BBA students from the Department of Management, University of Dhaka, was held on Wednesday at the Professor Abdullah Faruk Multipurpose Conference Hall, Faculty of Business Studies.
The event was graced by the presence of the Treasurer of the University of Dhaka, Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, as the chief guest.
The event was presided over by the Chairman of the Department of Management, Prof Dr. Mohammad Toufiqul Islam. Professor Md. Ali Akkas and the Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC, Md. Mojibur Rahman, addressed the ceremony as special guests. On behalf of the newly admitted students, Mechsing Marma and Md. Belal Hossain delivered speeches.
Chief guest Prof Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury remarked that the students earned their place at the University of Dhaka through merit and hard work. He reminded them that the university is funded by the taxpayers of the country.
As vital stakeholders of this institution, students have many responsibilities and duties in transforming society and the nation. He further stated that the nation holds great expectations from the teachers and students of the University of Dhaka, and to fulfill these expectations, students must grow into skilled human resources.
