Rikkyo University Prof, adviser of Japan Embassy met with DU VC

Professor Dr. Naonori Kusakabe of Rikkyo University, Japan, and Mr. Sone Keita, Advisor of the Political Section of the Embassy of Japan in Dhaka, met with the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Dhaka, Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, at his office on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed various issues of mutual interest, particularly strengthening the ongoing joint educational and research collaborations between the University of Dhaka and various Japanese universities, including Rikkyo University.
The meeting also focused on the possibility of exchanging teachers, students, researchers, and cultural groups between different universities in Japan and the University of Dhaka to enhance academic cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experience.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan said that a long-standing friendly relationship exists between Bangladesh and Japan. He expressed hope that this friendly relationship between the two countries would be further strengthened in the future. The Vice-Chancellor expressed interest in expanding academic relations with various universities in Japan.
