DU's programmes on 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day'

The 'National Revolution and Solidarity Day' will be celebrated at Dhaka University on Saturday (November 7) . Various programs have been taken up to celebrate the day with due dignity.
The programs include hoisting of the national flag at 6:20 am in all halls and important buildings of the university, including the Vice-Chancellor's Building, a discussion meeting at the Student-Teacher Center Auditorium at 11:00 am, Milad-Mahfil and special prayers after Asr in all halls/hostels and mosques in the residential area, including the University Central Mosque, and special prayer meetings at other religious places of worship.
The discussion meeting, chaired by Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. ABM Obaidul Islam, will be attended by Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Abdus Salam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani and Treasurer Professor Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury as guests of honor.
In addition, an essay competition will be organized with the participation of students in November to mark the day. All the university family, including teachers, students, officials and employees, have been requested to participate in these programs.
