The document givers and recipients locked Dohar Upazila Sub-Registrar office in Dhaka.
The incident occurred around 4 pm on Tuesday.

It is reported that such an incident occurred due to irregular office work and leaving without completing the document registry.

Document writers and victims said that Aklima Yasmin, the sub-register officer of Doha Upazila, was in the office at around 12 noon on Tuesday. At Around 3 pm, she left the office without completing the 10 document registry. At that time, the document writers requested her to complete the documents. But the sub-register left the office without keeping their request. Angry at the incident, she locked the office room and the sub-register office. Upon receiving the news, Aklima Yasmin immediately came to the office and threatened to file a case against those responsible for locking it. At one point, the document givers and recipients opened the lock and went to the office.

A victim named Nazrul Islam said, I am a sick person. I came to the sub-registrar office around 11 am with a sick body and deposited money and waited for the registry. But he left without registering the document without any reason.

Taju Molla of Charkusai area came to the sub-registrar office as a document recipient and it was noon while he was getting the papers ready. When he left with a few documents, the waiting people got angry.

In this regard, Badal Hossain Mridha, president of the Document Writers Association, said, the sub-registrar works 3 days a week. Many people suffer because he works 3 days a week when there are instructions to work 5 days a week. We want relief from this.

Alamgir Hossain, general secretary of the association, said, the document donor and recipient come here since morning to edit the documents. But when the sub-registrar left without leaving the documents, the office staff locked it.

When asked about the statement of Dohar Sub-Registrar Aklima Yasmin, she quickly left without saying anything. Later, even though she called her mobile phone several times, she did not answer the call.

When she called Dhaka District Sub-Registrar Munshi Moklesur Rahman's mobile phone several times to inquire about this matter, she did not answer the call.
