
Doa mahfil held in Sandwip for those killed, injured in plane crash at Milestone College

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Sandwip Upazila organised prayers for the young students, teachers, pilots and everyone who were killed and injured in the plane crash at Milestone College in Uttara, the capital led by Upazila Secretary Maulana Abu Taher and presided over by Upazila Ameer Maulana Sirajul Islam Firoz.
The entire nation is deeply saddened by this heartbreaking incident. Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Central Majlish Shura Member and Chittagong North District Ameer Muhammad Ala Uddin Sikder was present as the chief guest at this doa mahfil, organized with the wish for the speedy recovery of the injured and the forgiveness of the souls of the deceased.
The chief guest said that young students are the future of the nation. Their education, dreams and life prospects promise to take the nation to new heights.
But the loss of so many lives in an unexpected accident is not just a loss to a family or an educational institution, but an irreparable loss for the entire nation.
He added, “We deeply believe that every child in this country has the right to grow up safely. We want no other family to face such a tragic scene in the future.”
The event was concluded with a recitation from the Quran by Maulana Nazimuddin Siraji and a special prayer. The prayer meeting was held in which sincere prayers were offered to Allah, so that all the injured may recover quickly and their families may overcome this difficult time with patience and strength.
