Discussion on ‘People’s Voice’ organized by Natore Information Office

A discussion titled ‘People’s Voice’ was held in Natore, organized by the District Information Office, to enhance public participation in the country’s development. The event took place on Tuesday   at the training hall of the Youth Development Directorate.

Presided over by K.M. Abdul Matin, Deputy Director of the Natore Youth Development Directorate, the program featured a welcome speech by District Information Officer Md. Abdul Awal. Special guest speeches were delivered by Md. Mehedi Hasan, Deputy Director of the Natore District Office of the Department of Narcotics Control, and Farazi Ahmad Rafiq Babon, President of the Natore Press Club.

Speakers at the event emphasized that the July uprising has created an opportunity to build a new Bangladesh. They urged everyone to play a responsible role from their respective positions to seize this opportunity.

 
 The discussion covered topics such as ensuring quality research-based education and a conducive academic environment, controlling corruption and drug abuse, improving waste management in municipal areas, evicting illegal encroachments on water bodies, preventing online rumors, promoting children’s mental development, curbing mobile phone misuse, and fostering ethics and values. Students and attendees shared their views on these issues.
