A special discussion meeting and documentary exhibition titled 'Naogaon-1: Future of Naogaon through Youth's Thoughts' was held at the Upazila Sadar's election office on Wednesday  at 11:30 am under the initiative of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami in Sapahar, Naogaon. The meeting was organized by Upazila Jamaat-e-Islami.

The function was presided over by Upazila Jamaat Amir Abul Khair Tarun and was attended by the chief guest, Principal Mahbubul Alam, a candidate for the post of Member of Parliament from Naogaon-1 (Sapahar-Porsha-Niamatpur) constituency, supported by an 11-party alliance and nominated by Jamaat-e-Islami in the 13th National Parliament elections.

In his speech as the chief guest, Principal Mahbubul Alam said, "The youth must play a leading role in building a prosperous Bangladesh in the future. Our goal is to develop Naogaon-1 area as a modern, educated and non-discriminatory town. We will build the Naogaon-1 of our dreams by utilizing the new ideas and creativity of the youth."

District Jamaat executive committee member and election director Naushad Ali, Niamatpur Upazila Jamaat Amir Afzal Hossain, Sapahar Upazila Deputy Secretary Zaidul Islam Engineer Mominul Haque spoke as special guests in the meeting. Local leaders were also present, among others.

Engineer Ahmed Ali presented a documentary titled 'Naogaon-1 in the Youth's Thoughts' at the event. After the discussion, prizes were given to the winners of the video competition organized based on the ideas of the youth to build 'Naogaon-1 of Dreams'. The three winners of the competition were awarded attractive prizes.
