Municipal authorities held a meeting with journalists on the overall activities of Rangamati Municipality
Municipal Administrator Md. Mobarak Hossain was present at the view-sharing meeting organized at the municipality conference room on Thursday at 3 pm.
Journalists from electronic and print media presented their views.
Strong demands were made for the market system in Rangamati city, freeing sidewalks, road renovation, car parking, Kaptai Lake pollution and freeing, establishment of a bus terminal, taking necessary measures for beautification and waste management in Rangamati city, taking measures against the movement of unlicensed vehicles, launching boats for the benefit of the poor, and keeping the water bodies of Rangamati usable and the municipal grounds open.
In the exchange of views, Municipal Administrator Md. Mobarak Hossain said in his speech, "The municipality has limitations, but there will be no lack of efforts. We hope to be able to present a beautiful civic municipality in the future."
At this time, Rangamati Municipality Chief Executive Officer Md. Yasin Khandaker, City Planner Subarna Chakma, Executive Engineer Shyamal Chandra, Accounting Officer Md. Faruk Ahmed, Administrative Officer Mohammad Moinul Islam, Deputy Assistant Engineer (Electricity) Pulak Jiban Chakma were present in the exchange of views.
