A condolence meeting was held in Sylhet memory of district vice president of Democratic Party Syed Soyef Ahmad. Sylhet District and Metropolitan Branch of the Democratic Party arranged this Meeting at Kazi Nazrul Islam Academy in Zindabazar in the city on Monday.

The central president of the Democratic Party, brave freedom fighter Barrister Mohammad Arsh Ali attend the meeting as a chief guest.

He said this speech, Syed Saif Ahmed's contribution to every democratic movement was unforgettable. He was an uncompromising soldier for the needs of the motherland. As an honest, fearless and non-communal politician, his presence in party activities was noticeable. Establishing the rights of the working people of the country was the main motto of his politics. His legacy will serve as a source of inspiration for generations to come.

He said these things in his address as the chief guest at the condolence meeting organized by the President of Mahanagar Democratic Party Professor Prankant Das gave a welcome speech at the meeting.
