Demand to convert Puranpara Secondary School in Barishal city into high school and college

Former president of Islami Chhatra Shibir Barishal Metropolitan and Chairman of Ahsan Foundation Md. Kamrul Ahsan Hasan has demanded to convert Puranpara Secondary School in Ward No. 3 of Barishal city into a high school and college.
He made this demand as a special guest at the 58th annual sports, cultural competition and award distribution ceremony of Puranpara Secondary School on Thursday morning.
He said that converting this half-century-old school into a school and college is the demand of the hour. If Puranpara Secondary School is upgraded to a college, thousands of students in this area will benefit from it.
In view of this demand, the chief guest of the program, Chairman of Barisal Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, Professor Md. Yunus Ali Siddiqui, said that if the locals take the initiative, all kinds of cooperation will be provided to convert Puranpara Secondary School into a school and college.
Headmaster Uttam Kumar Das presided over the program, and Barisal Metropolitan BNP Convening Committee member and former Ward 03 BNP President Md. Serajul Haque Mridha (Haq Master), land donor to the school and Special PP of the Barisal Human Trafficking Crime Suppression Tribunal Md. Liaqat Ali Khan (Advocate) also spoke as special guests.
The program was moderated by the school's assistant teacher Liton Chandra Joydhar, Director of Suptabikash Kindergarten Md. Ziaul Hasan and Mubashwira.
