Dacoity at gunpoint, money, gold ornaments looted at Kaliakair

A daring dacoity of money and gold ornaments committed on Tuesday night at Namashulai area under Kaliakair Upazela in Gazipur.
According to the local residents and the victim's family on Tuesday night at around 1 am a group of robbers included 7-8 members entered into the building's 2nd floor room by breaking the lock of the opening door of Emdadul Haque's house.
The robbers tied the hands and feet of Emdadul Haque and snatched almost seventy thousand taka with 5 bhari gold ornaments and two smart mobile phones .Then the robbers asked Emdadul to tell them where his brothers are staying. After that they came to the ground floor and tied Shahalom' hands and feet also.Then they snatched 80000 taka 4 bhari gold ornaments from almirah. Thirdly they entered into Ibrahim's room and tied Ibrahim and his wife with curtain and took away 7 bhari gold ornaments with 20000 taka. Then they ran away very soon.
OC of Kaliakair Thana, Riyad Mahmud said, they got a complaint in this matter and an action will be taken very soon after investigation.
