Colourful Eid rally on DU campus on Eid-ul-Fitr

On the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, a colourful Eid procession was held on Monday, on the Dhaka University campus.
The Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University, Prof Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, led the procession.
The Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Education) of the university, Prof Dr. Mamun Ahmed, Proctor Associate Prof Saifuddin Ahmed, along with provosts of various halls, teachers, students, officers, staff, and leaders of various student organizations participated in the procession.
The procession began at 8:00 AM after the first Eid-ul-Fitr congregation at the university’s central mosque, Masjidul Jamia. The procession passed through TSC and concluded at the foot of Aparajeyo Bangla.
The Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University, Professor Dr. Niaz Ahmed Khan, extended heartfelt greetings to the teachers, students, officers, and staff of the university, as well as everyone else, on the occasion of the holy Eid-ul-Fitr. On this occasion, he wished everyone pure happiness, peace, prosperity, and well-being.
The Vice-Chancellor said that the country is currently passing through a challenging time. In this situation, everyone must rise above all differences and unite in the bonds of equality, friendship, and harmony.
We must hold hands and build strong unity. By embracing the lessons of self-purification and restraint from the month of Ramadan, we must continue practicing kindness, empathy, and tolerance in our personal lives. He called upon everyone to step forward in establishing an advanced, liberal, and humane society.
