Coast Guard provides free medical treatment medicines to 345 people in Mehendiganj

Bangladesh Coast Guard organized a day-long medical campaign providing free health treatment and essential medicines to 345 local residents in Mehendiganj upazila under Barishal district.
Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon said this in a press release on Sunday afternoon.
Under the management of Coast Guard Base Bhola, the medical campaign was conducted at Coast Guard Station Kaliganj in Mehendiganj from 10:30 AM to 2:00 PM on Sunday. Specialized medical teams delivered free health consultations, clinical check-ups, and necessary pharmaceutical supplies to underserved coastal community members.
Lieutenant Commander Sabbir Alam Sujon emphasized that alongside its core law enforcement and maritime security duties, Bangladesh Coast Guard regularly conducts humanitarian initiatives and medical outreach camps for coastal and riverine populations, reaffirming its commitment to continue such public service programs in the future.
