Coast Guard provides free medical services, distributes essential medicines at St. Martin’s Island

Babgladesh Coast Guard has provided free medical services and distributes essential medicines at St. Martin’s Island in Cox's Bazar on Monday. 

 Coast Guard Media Officer Lieutenant Commander Siam-Ul-Haque informed this in a press release on Monday night.  Bangladesh Coast Guard has consistently stepped forward to address the needs of the underprivileged people living along coastal and riverine areas.Since its inception, the Coast Guard has been providing free medical services to distressed and low-income individuals through various medical camps.As part of this ongoing initiative, on Monday, 28 April 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, a medical camp was organized by Bangladesh Coast Guard Ship Tajuddin at the Coast Guard Station in Saint Martin’s Island.More than a hundred helpless, poor, distressed individuals, including children, received free medical services and essential medicines at the camp.The medical camp was led by Medical Officer Surgeon Lieutenant Salman Mehedi Ankon, AMC.Bangladesh Coast Guard will continue such humanitarian activities in the future.
