Case filed over attempted rape of third-grade student in Rajarhat
Victim's family has filed a case at the police station over an alleged attempt to rape a third-grade student in Rajarhat.
It is learnt that on Friday last , when Mominur Islam's third-grade student Monisha Akhter Meem (9) of Kishamat Gobda village in Gharialdanga union of Rajarhat upazila went to Ismail Hossain's (40) shop in the same village to buy a notebook, Ismail Hossain took the girl inside and tried to rape her.
At that time, Ismail Hossain escaped after hearing the girl's screams. Later, on Sunday, the girl's mother filed a case under the Women and Child Abuse Act at Rajarhat police station.
Taslim Uddin, OC of Rajarhat police station, said that he has come to know about the matter. A complaint has been received at the police station.
