In Madapur Union under Kalukhali Upazila of Rajbari district, Alamgir Hossain has established himself as a prominent political figure, blending business success with long-standing dedication to local politics, education, and public welfare. 

Currently serving as the Vice President of Kalukhali Upazila BNP  and President of Suryadia Dakhil Madrasa, Hossain also plays a key role as a member of the election management committee for the Kalukhali Bazar (Industrial and Merchant) Association. Local residents and traders have lauded his initiatives in strengthening the organizational base at the grassroots level, advocating for business community rights, and helping maintain law and order within local markets.

Backed by family tradition and extensive political experience, Hossain has consistently led efforts to support party activists during critical periods. Local party leaders noted that he remained active on the streets despite adverse conditions, legal cases, and political pressure during the previous regime. Recently, the organized participation of residents from all walks of life under his leadership in central and local political programs has drawn positive attention across the upazila.

With the upcoming Union Parishad elections approaching, Hossain has emerged as a central figure among local discussions as a prospective candidate for the chairman post in Madapur Union under the BNP’s 'Dhaner Sheesh' (Sheaf of Paddy) electoral symbol.

Local residents and political observers emphasized that his combination of business integrity, political vision, and social commitment has made him a widely accepted figure.

 Community leaders expressed optimism that should he receive the party nomination for the UP chairman post, his leadership would contribute significantly to the overall infrastructure and socio-economic development of Madapur Union.
