BSMRSTU student stabbed by miscreants

A student of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University in Gopalganj (BSMRSTU) was stabbed by miscreants on Thursday.
The incident took place on Thursday in the area near Haridashpur Bridge in the district town.
The name of the victim student is Ahsan Ullah. He is a 2019-20 academic year student of Finance and Banking Department of the University.
According to local sources, Ahsan Ullah was walking on the side of the bridge. Then suddenly some mischievous young man came to him and suddenly hit him with native weapons on his hands and different parts of his body. During this time, his body was bleeding a lot. Ahsan lost consciousness on the spot.
He was admitted to Gopalganj district 250-bed sadar hospital with serious stab wounds. On the surface, it can be seen that 12 stitches have been done on the body of the victim after the stabbing.
In this regard, the proctor of the university. Md. Kamruzzaman said, I heard the matter through the students. And immediately spoke to the OC about it. He promised to take action. Meanwhile, we are also keeping track. He said that those involved in the incident should be brought under the law. We will try our best for this.
Gopalganj Sadar Police Station O.C Md. Anichur Rahman told journalists that we have come to know about the stabbing of the university student. So I sent officers to the spot and to the hospital. Whoever does this will be investigated and will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
