BRUR Registrar Dr. Harun elected Literature, Cultural Secretary in RUAA

Begum Rokeya University Rangpur’s Registrar Dr. Md. Harun-or-Rashid elected as Literature and Cultural Secretary in one of the famous universities of Bangladesh Rajshahi University’s ex-students organization RUAA (Rajshahi University Alumni Association) on 26 July 2027.
About 4000 ex-students of Rajshahii University exercised their votes in the RUAA election with joyous and festive atmosphere from morning to afternoon. Among the 51 posts of RUAA election, 27 candidates were previously elected as there were not any competitors. For the rest of the posts the voters exercised their votes. There were 2 vote centers. One was in Rajshahi University Campus and the other was in Dhaka University campus.
It is noted that Md. Rafiqul Islam Kkan was elected as president and Professor Dr. Md. Nizam Uddin was elected general Secretary from Rafiqul-Nizam panel. From this panel 50 candidates have been elected as winners out of 51 posts. DR. Md. Harun-or-Rashid has been elected under this panel.
Meanwhile, a hearty reception was given to DR. Md. Harun-or-Rashid on behalf of the ex-students of Rajshahi University living in Rangpur on Sunday evening in a local auditorium of Rangpur City for becoming the winner. Under the chairmanship of Professor Golam Mostofa there was a short discussion where Rajshahi University’s Ex-student Prosessor Abul Hasem Badol and Professor Aslam Hakim spoke.
