BNP protest rally in Netrokona demanding release of ex- state minister Lutfuzzaman Babar

A protest rally was held in Netrokona to demand the release of Md. Lutfuzzaman Babar, a two-time Member of Parliament nominated by BNP in Netrokona-4 (Madan-Mohanganj-Khaliajuri) constituency on Wednesday afternoon.
Netrokona district BNP organized this protest rally at local Shaheed Minar.
Netrokona District BNP Convenor Prof. Dr. Md. Anwarul Haque, presided over by joint convener Tajezul Islam Faras Sujat and SM Moniruzzaman Dudu, addressed the protest rally. Member Secretary of BNP, Executive of Central BNP Member Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam Hilali, District BNP Ex-President, Former Parliamentarian Freedom Fighter Ashraf Uddin Khan, District BNP Ex-President Advocate Nuruzzaman Nuru, District BNP C Joint Convener Former General Secretary Advocate Mahfuzul Haque, Former General Secretary Abu Taher Talukdar, District BNP Joint Convener Mojibur Rahman Khan, former vice-president, former upazila chairman Abdul Mannan Talukdar, former organizing secretary SM Shafiqul Quader Sooja, former vice-president Imran Khan Chowdhury, president and convener and member secretaries of BNP from various upazilas. This is the first time such a big show down of BNP was held in Netrakona after the change of power.
Speakers in the rally demanded withdrawal of all false cases filed by the fallen dictator Sheikh Hasina government against BNP Acting Chairman Tariq Rahman and former State Minister for Home Affairs Lutfuzzaman Babar and their immediate unconditional release.
