BNP-police clash leaves 30 injured in Nandail

At least 30 people including cops were injured in a clash between BNP activists and Police at Nandail town's bus-stand on Thursday around 11.30 am.

Rasheduzzaman said, when the BNP leaders and activists were marching on Mymensingh-Kishorganj road in support of the blockade at around 11:30 in the morning, the police stopped them at the bus stand area of Nandail Shrine. At that time, the chase and the throwing of bricks started with the police. Police fired tearshells and rubber bullets to bring the situation under control. 30 people including two policemen were injured.
The OC also said that the police brought the situation under control by dispersing the BNP leaders and workers. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard
