BNP-Jamaat conspiring to create chaos on Human Rights Day : Quader

General Secretary of Awami League Obaidul Quader has said that the BNP-Jamaat alliance is conspiring to create a chaotic situation across the country on the Human Rights Day.
He said, having faced setback in their movement due to lack of public support, the BNP-Jamaat alliance is now attempting to advance the movement further by resorting to sabotage and creating disturbances.
Obaidul Quader, also the Road Transport and Bridges Minister, came up with the remark while addressing a press briefing held at the Awami League president's political office in Dhanmondi in the capital on Wednesday.
He said, BNP is doing wrong politics, and their connotation with Jamaat has led them to become isolated from the general people.
Quader also predicted that BNP could potentially be Jamaat’s B-team if the current situation continues.
Meanwhile, the BNP party office has been under lock and key since October 29. Regarding the issue, the Awami League general secretary said that the BNP itself has done it.
Awami League presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak, joint general secretary Dr. Hasan Mahmud, Mahbub Ul Alam Hanif, AFM Bahauddin Nasim and other central leaders were present at the press briefing.
